Whale sharks are the ocean’s largest fish growing up to 12 metres. Despite their enormous size, they filter feed on microscopic plankton. Like our own fingerprints, each Whale Shark’s spots are unique, and can be used to identify individuals as they migrate thousands of miles across the ocean.
